Gabe's Hair

I am trying to teach Gabe how to do his hair. This is a picture of him doing it all by himself for the first time. He wanted it to stick up. Silly Guy!

Dear Gabe,
Dearest Gabe, I know that you have been working really hard at learning your alphabet. I am very proud of you and the hard work you are putting in. Just one thing though, I know that this might come as a shock to you but I actually know the alphabet too! I learned it waaaay before you were even born. So PLEASE listen to me when I am trying to teach you. I may even be right! ;)

Double Trouble

Gabe took Sammy into the pantry the other day and closed the door. I then heard giggling and it got quite. Too quite. After a bit I checked on them and lo-and-behold they had gotten into the candy cane bag. It was so cute I had to take pics. Double trouble!

Gum and the Plank

A silly Gaberism... If anyone knows what "Gum and the plank" means please let me know. I hear it from Gabe whenever he is mad. He said it to another little kid and the kid up and hit him. hmmm I wonder what it means!

Gabe liked wearing Uncle Trevor's things. Sunglasses, hats, whatever he could get his hands on. He really liked this hat.

Guitar

We have to get a video on the blog of Gabe actually playing and singing. It is cute! He has decided that my guitar is really fun. He plays while Sam, Trent and I dance.

Dress-up

Yesterday during the dinner prayer Gabe said "Thank you for Gabe and his hard work"

Today he was playing with a stapler and told me that it was a dinosaur.

Opa and Gabe

Gabe had sooo much fun with his Opa. Thanks for being such a good sport Opa!
One of Gabe's favorite things to do now is go outside and shovel snow. He likes to be a "Helpful boy". Here is a picture of Opa pushing Gabe in the snow.

What an imagination! I wish that I could look at things the way kids do. You might think that this is an ordinary train caboose, but noooo...its a skateboard! How exciting!
